    I am returning to exhibiting with the Artwalk, after a six year break. My style is vibrant acrylic colours on canvas, depicting architecture from around the world and from my imagination. Artwalk night sees the return of my pop-ular pop-up stall 'Takeaways for a tenner' - paintings and limited edition art pieces.
  • Sarah Connell, Local Author Wed 29th May 2024
    Come and meet Sarah Connell who will discuss her novel about the migration crisis ‘Where Are You Now?’. The character of the asylum seeker in the story is based on a real person who came to Wakefield District City of Sanctuary for help. Sarah was first published at the age of 70 and now has three novels, with another one on the way. Wakefield is the setting for her writing and her characters. Sarah will talk about how she came to be published and what she has learnt in the process.

    The Artwalk wall will be ablaze with art works from the studios collective of unique artists. Some of the artists will be on hand to discuss the pieces, tell you about the studio and answer any questions. Come and meet this eclectic group of talented people and enjoy a drink while you're here! The display launches 5pm Wednesday 31st and will be in situ until mid March.
