Trust the Process Wed 26th Mar 2025Creating art is an intimate journey, shaped by the world around me. As an artist, I continuously find myself inspired by nature and, like the artist Betty Frank, I tap into my environment and emotions. My artistic practice goes beyond putting paint on a canvas; it involves exploring the deeper meanings behind my creations and understanding how every choice shapes my work. Each mark, line, shape represents a feeling or experience I had. Through daily recordings of my artistic process, I am discovering more about myself and my ways of working in art. This exploration adds richness to my work whilst also illuminating the connection between nature, emotions, and creativity.

Colourful Collages Wed 26th Mar 2025While working on a project inspired by nostalgia and early memories. I fell in love with cutting and sticking again; it's a wonderfully therapeutic activity to cut out forms from coloured card and painted papers. Henri Mattise was my main inspiration for these collages, and I have attempted to reflect his use of vivid colours. My goal with these paintings is to evoke memories of a simpler time through vibrant shapes.

Mikey3D Wed 29th Jan 2025Mikey3D is an innovative artist who transforms the traditional creative process into a collaborative experience. Through live streaming on social media, I invite viewers to actively participate in the creation of my art by choosing elements such as the orientation, colours, paint quantities, and even the unconventional tools used, like rolling pins, spoons, or sponges. Rejecting the typical methods of a paintbrush, I thrive on the unpredictable nature of my work, with each piece evolving in real-time based on the input of my audience. This dynamic, interactive approach to art challenges the boundaries between artist and viewer, fostering a unique connection and allowing each piece to take on a life of its own. Embracing spontaneity and collaboration, my work is a reflection of the shared energy and creativity of the online community that helps shape it.
